His first realization that he loved music was at a very early age of 6, when he found a small bamboo flute in his room’s drawer, that was gift he received from a relative at the time, but he didn’t play it, he barely played it, and put it back in the drawer. Until one day, a friend of his from school came over to play with him, and have fun with his toys, the friend opened the drawer, and saw the little bamboo flute, he picked it up and began playing a song. Tarek was thrilled ! This little flute has been sitting inside the drawer for years, I never picked it up or tried to play it, he thought, and began admiring what it can do. His friend didn’t feel or know how Tarek felt after he played with it for a few a minute of two, he was just playful and began checking the other toys in the room, ignoring the flute. This was not the case with Tarek, he felt that this is a big event in his life, as if something special happend to him in a few minutes, his friend left after a few hours, and Tarek’s attention was now on that little flute.

He picked it up, determined to play it, he noticed that covering the holes was what he needed to do, and by lifting his fingers from specific holes, a specific note sounded, low to high, then high to low, he also noticed that if he blew harder a different high-pitched louder sound was produced, of sound was produced, and if he played gently, he got a lower
